Job Description
The Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously reviewing EHS policies, procedures, and risk assessments. This role requires a highly skilled and experienced individual with a strong background in EHS, occupational health and safety, and environmental science. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders, and a strong knowledge of EHS principles and practices.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
- • Experience in EHS, occupational health and safety, or environmental science
- • Strong knowledge of EHS principles and practices
- • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Develop, implement, and continuously review EHS policies, procedures, and risk assessments
- • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards
- • Facilitate and deliver EHS induction, training, and toolbox talks for staff, contractors, and subcontractors
- • Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses
- • Maintain accurate EHS records, statistics, and reports
