Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with light vehicles, carrying out repairs and maintenance, and ensuring all work is completed to a high standard. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Full Technician Certificate or Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering
- • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience working with similar machinery and vehicles
- • Valid driving license for classes B, C, E, D
- • Defensive Driving Certificate from the Automobile Association of Kenya or equivalent
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with light vehicles
- • Carry out repairs and maintenance to company standards
- • Keep all relevant tools and equipment in good order
- • Prepare materials/parts requisition slips and work done reports
- • Report any abnormalities to the plant foreman
