Job Description
The Mechanical Technician will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel engines and power generation equipment. This role involves diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical faults, carrying out major and minor engine overhauls, and conducting routine inspections and servicing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering or a related field, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma, Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience working with diesel engines and associated mechanical systems. Demonstrable experience in the maintenance and repair of diesel generators. Ability to independently perform complete engine overhauls and major mechanical repairs. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting
