Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Accountant to oversee accounting operations, ensure compliance with tax and statutory obligations, and manage payroll and supplier payments. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of Kenyan tax laws and statutory reporting, as well as proficiency in QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills are essential for this role. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on accounting experience and a CPA II qualification.

- • At least 5 years of hands-on accounting experience
- • Strong knowledge of Kenyan tax laws and statutory reporting

- • Oversee accounting operations, including month-end close and financial reporting
- • Ensure compliance with all tax and statutory obligations, such as VAT, PAYE, WHT, NHIF, and NSSF
