Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Radio Sonographer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing imaging procedures, processing and printing quality images, and ensuring client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Medical Imaging Science or Radiography, and a minimum of 4 years' experience in sonography or diagnostic imaging.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Medical Imaging Science or Radiography
- • Registered with the relevant regulatory body and holding a valid practicing license
- • Minimum of 4 years' experience in sonography or diagnostic imaging
- • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is an added advantage
- • Proficiency in computer applications and Health Management Information Systems (HMIS)
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Perform imaging procedures on patients to meet established practice parameters and standards of care
- • Process and print quality and appropriate images to assist in diagnosis
- • Ensure availability and optimum utilization of consumables for cost effectiveness
- • Produce timely and accurate results in line with Imaging SOPs
- • Accurately identify and prepare clients prior to imaging procedures
- • Ensure radiation safety within the facility for both staff and patients
