Job Description
The Human Resource Officer will manage recruitment, onboarding, payroll and employee benefits, as well as handle disciplinary procedures and performance appraisals. They will ensure compliance with Kenyan labour laws and internal HR policies, maintain accurate employee records, and provide HR support to staff. The role also involves coordinating staff development and maintaining HR documentation. Strong knowledge of HR best practices and relevant certifications are required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor of Science or Business degree in Human Resource Management.
- • Membership of the Institute of Human Resource Management (preferred).
- • Certified Human Resource Practitioner (CHRP‑K) is an advantage.
- • Minimum two years of progressive HR experience.
- • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and HR management systems.
- • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
- • Sound knowledge of Kenyan labour laws and HR best practices.
