Job Description
The Tug‑of‑War Coach will design and deliver structured training programs to improve athletes’ strength, endurance, and technical pulling skills. The coach will recruit and select team members, ensure safety standards during practice and competitions, and maintain performance records. Coordination with the County Department of Sports and other stakeholders is essential for team participation and resource allocation.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Kenyan citizenship
- • KCSE (Secondary School) certificate
- • Post‑secondary education in Physical Education, Sports Science or a related field
- • Certificate from the Kenya Tug of War Federation or a recognized sports body
- • Minimum two years experience as a tug‑of‑war player, assistant coach or coach
- • First‑Aid training

- • Recruit and select team members based on merit, strength, discipline, and teamwork capability
- • Enforce safety standards during training sessions and competitions
