The Area Operations Officer oversees the performance of six Food for Education kitchens, ensuring safe, reliable meal production for learners. The role drives operational efficiency, coaches kitchen officers, and conducts audits to maintain compliance with food safety standards.

Responsibilities
- • Lead a portfolio of six kitchens within the assigned area
- • Drive performance across production, yield, stock availability, and dispatch readiness
- • Coach and support Kitchen Officers to achieve consistent kitchen performance
- • Identify and resolve operational challenges before they affect service delivery
- • Conduct structured audits to ensure compliance with SOPs and food safety policies
- • Train kitchen staff on standard operating procedures and communicate policy updates
- • Monitor stock levels, yield calculations, and dispatch schedules to maintain reliability
