Job Description
The Direct Sales Agent will market and sell telecommunications products and services in Garissa, achieving sales targets for airtime, device acquisitions and other offerings. The role includes managing inventory, handling cash float, providing technical support for data devices and improving the customer experience. The agent reports to the Shop Team Leader and must adhere to finance and retail operational controls.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field
- • At least 1 year of sales experience
- • Strong marketing skills and product knowledge
- • Ability to upsell and cross‑sell solutions
- • Customer‑relationship management expertise
- • Strong networking and partnership‑building abilities
- • Influencing, negotiation and analytical thinking skills
- • Leadership potential and results‑orientation
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Generate sales for airtime, device acquisitions and related products in line with targets
- • Monitor inventory and consignment stock to ensure accurate daily balances
- • Manage daily cash float and reconcile sales transactions
- • Support customer‑experience improvement initiatives to boost sales
- • Provide technical support for data device configuration and troubleshooting
