Job Description
The Supply Chain Coordinator supports IFRC’s humanitarian operations by managing procurement, logistics, and inventory processes to ensure timely delivery of essential goods to affected communities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related discipline
- • 3–5 years experience in procurement or humanitarian logistics
- • Knowledge of international shipping regulations and donor compliance
- • Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities
- • Ability to work in fast‑paced, multi‑cultural environments
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Coordinate procurement of supplies and services in line with project needs
- • Track shipments, manage customs clearance, and oversee distribution logistics
- • Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels
- • Liaise with partners, vendors, and field teams to resolve supply issues
- • Prepare logistics reports and contribute to contingency planning
