Job Description
The driver will provide reliable transportation for IFRC personnel and equipment, supporting humanitarian operations across Nairobi and surrounding areas. Responsibilities include safe vehicle operation, timely delivery of supplies, and routine maintenance to ensure readiness. The role demands a high level of professionalism and adaptability in dynamic environments.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Valid driver’s license for the vehicle class required
- • Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience, preferably in humanitarian or logistics settings
- • Good knowledge of Nairobi road networks and navigation
- • Strong record of safety and punctuality
- • Ability to work flexible hours and respond to urgent calls

- • Transport staff, volunteers and cargo to designated locations safely and on schedule
- • Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform basic maintenance and arrange servicing
- • Keep accurate mileage and fuel logs
- • Ensure compliance with traffic regulations and IFRC safety protocols
- • Assist with loading and unloading of humanitarian supplies
