Job Description

The GEDSI Coordinator leads the design and implementation of gender equality, disability, and social inclusion initiatives for the THRIVE Project. The role works with partners and communities to integrate inclusive practices, monitor progress, and produce impact reports. Strong expertise in GEDSI and project management is essential.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • • Degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Gender Studies, or related field
  • • Proven experience managing GEDSI programmes
  • • Familiarity with humanitarian and development contexts in Africa
  • • Strong analytical, reporting, and stakeholder‑engagement skills
  • • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • • Develop and implement GEDSI strategies and action plans
  • • Coordinate with project partners, NGOs, and community groups
  • • Conduct trainings and capacity‑building workshops on inclusion
  • • Monitor and evaluate GEDSI outcomes and produce reports

  • • Ensure data collection reflects gender and disability considerations
