Job Description
The Program Officer will coordinate disaster risk reduction and emergency response activities for World Vision in Kenya. They will assess community vulnerabilities, develop preparedness plans, and support the implementation of relief operations. The role involves close collaboration with partners, monitoring program performance, and reporting on outcomes to strengthen the organization’s impact on vulnerable children.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in disaster management, humanitarian aid, social sciences or related field
- • Minimum 2 years experience in disaster management or humanitarian programmes
- • Strong analytical and communication skills
- • Ability to work in field environments and adapt to changing conditions
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data collection tools
