Job Description
The Advocacy and Coordination Consultant will support UN Women’s initiatives to advance gender equality across the East and Southern Africa region. The consultant designs advocacy strategies, coordinates program activities, and engages stakeholders to influence policy. They also produce analytical reports and monitor implementation of gender‑focused projects. A relevant advanced degree and extensive experience in advocacy are required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Advanced degree in gender studies, international development or related field
- • Proven experience in advocacy and coordination within the UN or NGOs
- • Strong analytical, writing and presentation skills
- • Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders
- • Fluency in English
- knowledge of regional languages is an asset
