Job Description
The Area Coordinators oversee the implementation of Mercy Corps’ Border Security Programme in Busia, Moyale and Wajir/Garissa, coordinating activities with local authorities and ensuring the safety of programme beneficiaries.

- • Coordinate programme activities and operations in the assigned border region
- • Liaise with local authorities, security agencies and community leaders
- • Monitor and report on security incidents and risks affecting programme delivery
- • Support the planning and execution of community outreach and protection initiatives
- • Compile regular reports and provide recommendations to programme management
