Job Description
The Assistant Chief Steward supports the chief steward in overseeing all stewarding operations within the hotel’s food and beverage outlets. This includes supervising a team of stewards, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety throughout the kitchen and service areas. The role also involves managing inventory of cleaning supplies, coordinating with kitchen staff, and maintaining compliance with health regulations. Strong leadership and organizational skills are essential to succeed in this fast‑paced hospitality environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Certificate or Diploma in Food and Beverage Production or a related field.
- • Minimum 3 years’ experience in stewarding or a similar hospitality role.
- • Knowledge of kitchen hygiene, sanitation and food‑safety regulations.
- • Strong leadership, communication and organisational abilities.

- • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the stewarding team.
