Job Description
The Branch Manager oversees all aspects of retail operations, driving sales performance, managing inventory, and leading a team to deliver exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include monitoring KPIs, optimizing stock levels, and ensuring financial controls while fostering a high‑performing, customer‑focused environment. The role requires strong commercial acumen and proven retail management experience.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Sales & Marketing, or related field
- • 3–5 years proven experience in retail management, preferably high‑volume environment
- • Minimum 2 years experience in a formal supervisory or management role
- • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and manage KPIs
- • Experience managing a team of 15+ employees
- • Knowledge of stock/inventory management and cash controls
- • Strong computer literacy and proficiency with reporting systems
- • Good numerical, analytical, and commercial aptitude
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Take full responsibility for branch sales performance, revenue growth, and achievement of targets
- • Drive customer traffic, conversion rates, and average sales value
- • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance and implement corrective actions
- • Analyse sales by category and develop strategies to improve sell‑through of slow‑moving products
- • Develop initiatives to increase customer visits during peak and off‑peak hours
- • Grow and maintain the branch customer database and manage WhatsApp communication channels
- • Lead, coach, and motivate the branch team, scheduling shifts and monitoring attendance
- • Manage stock receipt, recording, replenishment, and merchandising standards
- • Maintain strict cash, M‑Pay, and payment collection controls and reconcile daily sales
- • Ensure compliance with financial and operational procedures and report discrepancies
