Job Description
The school is seeking teachers for Year 9 and Early Years classes within the Cambridge International Curriculum. Responsibilities encompass planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and providing pastoral support while maintaining a safe, nurturing environment. Teachers will collaborate with colleagues, communicate with parents, and contribute to co‑curricular activities, upholding the institution’s Christian values. Candidates should be qualified educators with experience in curriculum delivery and classroom management.

Responsibilities
- • Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge International Curriculum and develop lesson plans and resources for Year 9 learners.
- • Provide academic and pastoral support, monitor student progress, behaviour, attendance, and wellbeing.
- • Assess learners through assignments, projects, tests, and maintain accurate records and progress reports.
- • Identify students needing additional support and implement appropriate interventions.
- • Foster critical thinking, creativity, problem‑solving and independent learning.
- • Maintain classroom routines and high standards of behaviour.
- • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
- • Participate in parent‑teacher conferences, staff meetings, curriculum planning and professional development.
- • Contribute to co‑curricular activities and uphold the school’s Christian ethos.
- • Plan and deliver age‑appropriate, play‑based learning experiences following the Cambridge Early Years curriculum.
- • Create lesson plans, schemes of work and learning activities for early literacy, numeracy and personal development.
- • Ensure health, safety and wellbeing of young learners and supervise them appropriately.
- • Maintain effective classroom routines and promote positive behaviour.
- • Build relationships with parents, provide feedback on child development, and participate in meetings.
- • Collaborate with teaching assistants and staff to support individual learner needs.
- • Organise classroom activities, assemblies, field trips and co‑curricular programmes.
- • Integrate educational technology and resources into early years teaching.
- • Model and promote the school’s Christian values in all interactions.
