Job Description
The Commercial Finance & Operations Executive oversees pricing, trade terms, cash management and tax compliance for a fast‑moving consumer goods business. The role builds price lists, analyses margins, manages accounts receivable/payable and ensures statutory obligations are met.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Professional qualification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or related field (CPA, ACCA or final stage)
- • At least 4 years experience in finance, commercial or operations roles, with 2 years in FMCG or manufacturing
- • Hands‑on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics or Sage
- • Proven ability to file Kenyan taxes via iTax and manage eTIMS compliance
- • Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and financial modelling

Responsibilities
- • Build and maintain price lists with clear margin structures for all channels
- • Develop and update product costing models and ROI analyses
- • Analyse gross margin by SKU, channel and customer and recommend corrective actions
- • Prepare budgets, forecasts and cash‑flow projections and track performance
- • Manage trade terms, credit limits and rebate agreements in the ERP
- • Own end‑to‑end accounts receivable, collections and debtor days control
- • Run accounts payable schedules and protect cash flow
- • Perform tax compliance, filing VAT, PAYE, withholding and corporate tax returns
- • Reconcile eTIMS and customs data and handle KRA queries
- • Manage inventory and order‑to‑cash processes within the ERP
