Job Description
The Design Operations Lead will oversee a remote team of designers, improving workflows, systems and automation to deliver high‑quality packaging artwork on schedule. The role combines hands‑on design production with leadership responsibilities, ensuring consistent quality while scaling processes through AI and automation. The leader will also act as a bridge between design and other business functions, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.

- • Identify bottlenecks and repetitive tasks, then design smarter workflows, systems, automations and AI‑supported processes
- • Create structure, clarity and accountability for the remote design team through planning, feedback, performance follow‑up and development
- • Maintain a high quality bar by reviewing complex customer artwork and catching issues before production
- • Represent the design function across the business and improve collaboration with colleagues throughout the customer and production journey
- • Step into design production when needed, reviewing and correcting artwork in Illustrator and supporting the team during peak periods
