Job Description
The Director of Community Based Inclusive Development will lead CBM’s CBID initiative, shaping strategy, managing a global team and resources, and advancing inclusive education, livelihood and community support for persons with disabilities worldwide.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Master’s degree in Development Studies, International Relations, Public Policy or a related field
- • Minimum of 10 years managerial experience in international development or disability‑inclusive programmes
- • Proven leadership of multi‑disciplinary teams across multiple countries
- • Strong strategic planning, budgeting and stakeholder‑engagement skills
- • Demonstrated commitment to disability inclusion and community‑based approaches
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Provide overall leadership and management of the CBID division
- • Develop and inspire a globally distributed team of advisors and technical staff
- • Manage divisional budgets, resources and performance to meet organisational objectives
- • Represent CBM and CBID in key global, regional and national forums and alliances
- • Drive strategic direction for inclusive community support, education and livelihood programmes
- • Oversee the design, implementation and evaluation of inclusive development projects
- • Foster partnerships with donors, governments and NGOs to expand impact
