Job Description
The Director of Audit oversees the audit function of the Office of the Auditor‑General, ensuring rigorous examination of public finances and compliance with statutory requirements. The role leads a team of auditors, coordinates audit programmes, and reports findings to senior officials.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (CPA or equivalent preferred)
- • Minimum 10 years of experience in public sector auditing or financial oversight
- • Strong knowledge of audit standards, regulations, and government finance
- • Proven leadership and team management abilities
- • Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
