Job Description
The E‑Commerce Operations & Logistics Associate manages product listings, inventory coordination and order fulfillment for a major trade and export client. The role ensures seamless integration between Chinese marketplaces and Kenyan consolidation hubs while handling customs documentation and supplier performance reporting. Strong analytical and multilingual communication skills are required to support cross‑border logistics.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, Supply Chain or a related field
- • At least 3 years of experience in e‑commerce operations, digital marketing or international logistics coordination
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Upload and maintain Chinese product listings, digital assets, origin videos and localized product descriptions
- • Coordinate inventory levels across Mombasa consolidation hubs and JD.com bonded warehouses in China to prevent stockouts
- • Manage daily order processing, customer‑service tickets and dispute resolution under Chinese e‑commerce regulations
- • Liaise with freight forwarders and customs brokers to prepare shipping documentation such as bills of lading and phytosanitary certificates
- • Compile data for quarterly supplier performance reviews, tracking delivery rates, return rates and stock metrics
