Job Description
The Environment Health Safety & Sustainability Coordinator implements EHS policies and sustainability initiatives within the manufacturing facility. They conduct inspections, risk assessments, and deliver training to promote a safe and environmentally responsible workplace. The coordinator tracks performance metrics and reports progress to senior management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or related field
- • At least 2 years of experience in EHS or sustainability coordination within an industrial setting
- • Strong knowledge of Kenyan environmental and occupational health regulations
- • Ability to analyze data and drive continuous improvement
- • Effective communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities
- • Implement and monitor EHS policies to ensure regulatory compliance in the manufacturing plant
- • Conduct workplace inspections and risk assessments for health, safety and environmental hazards
- • Coordinate sustainability initiatives such as waste reduction and energy efficiency programs
- • Provide training and awareness sessions for employees on safety procedures
- • Prepare regular EHS performance reports for senior management
