Job Description
The Fiber Technician installs and maintains fiber optic connections for residential and commercial customers, ensuring reliable high‑speed connectivity. Responsibilities include troubleshooting network faults, performing splicing and termination, and conducting preventive maintenance on the infrastructure. The technician also responds to technical complaints, follows safety protocols, and documents all installation and repair activities. Strong technical aptitude and the ability to work effectively in field environments are required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Previous fiber optic or FTTH experience preferred.
- • Practical knowledge of fiber installation and troubleshooting.
- • Ability to perform basic fiber testing and splicing.
- • Good technical and customer service skills.
