Job Description
The Finance Manager for Médecins Sans Frontières Eastern Africa will oversee financial operations, budgeting, and reporting across the region. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with donor requirements, managing cash flow, and supervising finance staff. The manager will also support procurement processes and provide strategic financial analysis to guide program decisions. This role is based in Kenya and operates within a humanitarian context.
Responsibilities
- • Manage regional budgets, financial planning, and forecasting
- • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and donors
- • Ensure compliance with internal controls, donor regulations, and accounting standards
- • Supervise and mentor finance team members
- • Oversee cash management, banking relationships, and treasury functions
- • Support procurement processes and monitor expenditures
- • Conduct financial analysis to inform program and operational decisions
- • Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors
