Job Description
The High School Comprehensive Counsellor will provide academic, personal, and career guidance to secondary students, fostering their wellbeing and future planning. The role includes individual counseling, group workshops, and collaboration with teachers and parents.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Relevant counseling qualification (Bachelor’s or Master’s in Counseling, Psychology, Education, or related field)
- • Valid counseling certification or registration in Kenya
- • Experience working with secondary‑school students
- • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- • Ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion

Responsibilities
- • Provide comprehensive counseling services to high‑school students, including academic, personal, and career guidance
- • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions
- • Develop and deliver workshops on study skills, mental health, and college preparation
- • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student wellbeing
- • Maintain confidential records and monitor student progress
