Job Description
The HR Business Lead drives HR strategy and delivery for PATH’s operations in Kenya, aligning talent initiatives with organisational goals. Key duties include overseeing recruitment, performance management, employee relations and HR analytics. The role requires strong leadership and deep HR expertise in a health‑focused environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field (Master’s preferred)
- • Minimum 5+ years experience in HR leadership roles, preferably within the health or nonprofit sector
- • Proven ability to lead HR teams and manage complex employee issues
- • Strong knowledge of Kenyan labour laws and HR best practices
- • Excellent communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills

- • Develop and implement HR strategies that support PATH’s mission and business objectives
- • Lead talent acquisition, onboarding and retention initiatives for all staff levels
- • Manage performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews and development plans
- • Provide guidance on employee relations, policy interpretation and conflict resolution
- • Oversee compensation, benefits administration and HR compliance with local regulations
- • Analyse HR metrics and produce reports to inform strategic decisions
