Job Description

The HR Manager will lead recruitment and onboarding for clinical and non‑clinical staff, develop and enforce HR policies, and manage employee records in compliance with Kenyan labour law. They will oversee performance management, employee engagement, and staff development programs while handling employee relations and workplace issues. The role also includes coordinating compensation, benefits, payroll, and supporting managers with workforce planning and organizational development. Reporting includes preparing HR analytics to inform senior management decisions.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • • Professional HR certification such as CHRP(K), IHRM, CIPD, or equivalent (preferred).
  • • Minimum of 5 years progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • • Experience in the healthcare, hospital, or medical services sector (preferred).
  • • Strong knowledge of Kenyan labour laws and employment regulations.
  • • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict‑resolution skills.
  • • Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
  • • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR information systems (HRIS).
