Job Description
The Internal Audit & Investigations Senior Associate leads end‑to‑end internal investigations across multiple markets, ensuring rigorous evidence collection, analysis and reporting to senior management and the Board.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND or equivalent degree in business, law, criminology or related field
- • Professional certification such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)
- other certifications (CIA, CISA, forensic accounting) are a plus
- • Minimum 8 years hands‑on experience conducting internal investigations in a regulated financial services environment
- • Strong written communication and report‑writing skills
- • High ethical standards and sound judgment
- • Excellent interviewing and stakeholder‑management abilities
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Lead investigations from intake through case closure, including planning, evidence gathering, interviews and analysis
- • Apply consistent investigative methodology across fraud, misconduct, harassment and policy‑violation cases
- • Maintain a comprehensive, defensible evidence trail for each case
- • Prepare clear, factual investigation reports for senior management and Board audiences
- • Recommend proportionate remediation actions and outcomes
- • Manage stakeholder relationships with HR, Legal, Risk and country teams
- • Uphold the integrity of the whistleblower and grievance programme
