Job Description
The Internal Audit Senior will lead audit engagements from planning through reporting, ensuring compliance with IIA standards and organizational policies. Responsibilities include risk assessment, fieldwork, documentation and follow‑up of audit findings. The role supports continuous improvement of internal controls across M‑KOPA Solar.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CIA) preferred.
- • Minimum 5 years of experience in internal audit, preferably in the energy or technology sector.
- • Strong knowledge of audit methodologies and risk assessment techniques.
- • Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.

- • Plan and scope audit assignments in accordance with IIA standards.
- • Execute fieldwork, testing controls and gathering evidence.
- • Document audit findings, prepare reports and present results to management.
- • Follow up on remediation actions and verify implementation.
- • Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.
- • Coordinate with external auditors and support regulatory compliance efforts.
