Job Description
The Junior Credit Analyst will analyze credit data, build financial models and prepare reports to support lending decisions. The role requires a strong quantitative background, proficiency in programming languages and data‑visualisation tools, and a keen interest in credit and financial analysis. Candidates should have an undergraduate degree in a quantitative field and up to two years of relevant experience.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
- • Proficiency in Python, SQL, Bash, R and data‑visualisation tools.
- • Zero to two years of work experience in a similar role.
- • Strong interest in credit and financial analysis.
- • Analytical, detail‑oriented and problem‑solving mindset.
- • Must have achieved an A grade in Mathematics.

Responsibilities
- • Collect, clean and analyze credit and financial data using Python, SQL, Bash and R.
- • Build financial models and credit risk assessments to support loan underwriting.
- • Create data visualisations and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- • Prepare written reports summarising credit analysis and recommendations.
- • Monitor portfolio performance and flag potential credit issues.
- • Collaborate with senior analysts to improve analytical methodologies.
