Job Description
Responsible for performing a wide range of laboratory tests on patient specimens, ensuring accuracy and compliance with quality standards. The technologist maintains equipment, calibrates instruments, and records results in the laboratory information system. Collaborates with clinicians to interpret findings and supports the hospital’s diagnostic services.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
- • Certification or registration with the relevant Kenyan laboratory authority (optional)
- • At least 1 year of experience working in a clinical laboratory
- • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures
- • Good communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
