Job Description
The Senior Supply Chain Manager will lead Safaricom’s end‑to‑end supply chain operations, ensuring efficient procurement, logistics and inventory management across its telecommunications services. The role involves strategic vendor partnership development, cost optimisation and oversight of distribution networks to support the delivery of telephony, broadband and mobile financial solutions. Strong leadership and analytical capabilities are essential to drive performance and sustain service excellence.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field
- • At least five years of progressive experience in supply chain or logistics, preferably in telecommunications
- • Demonstrated expertise in procurement, inventory control and vendor management
- • Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
- • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- • Proven leadership experience managing cross‑functional teams
