Job Description
The Maintenance Head oversees all technical operations at the lodge, ensuring that mechanical, electrical, plumbing, solar and HVAC systems remain functional and efficient. He/she coordinates a team of mechanics, conducts daily briefings, and monitors subcontractors to guarantee timely maintenance work. The role also includes regular inspections of key infrastructure and rapid response to urgent repairs while maintaining high safety and sustainability standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Engineering, Technical or related field
- • Proven experience in maintenance management within hospitality or similar environments
- • Valid driver’s license
- • Strong leadership, organizational and problem‑solving abilities

Responsibilities
- • Assign and monitor tasks for mechanics and maintenance staff, conducting daily briefings to set priorities
- • Inspect lodge facilities and critical systems such as water treatment, generators, solar, HVAC and electrical panels
- • Oversee urgent repairs, including plumbing leaks and electrical issues, ensuring equipment and vehicles remain operational
- • Coordinate subcontractors, schedule activities, provide site access, and verify completion of work to lodge standards
