Job Description
The Manager, Technology (IT) Risk will oversee the identification, assessment and mitigation of technology‑related risks across Equity Bank, establishing governance frameworks and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Risk Management or related field
- • Several years of experience in IT risk, governance or compliance within the banking sector
- • Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills
- • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Develop and maintain the IT risk management framework and policies
- • Conduct risk assessments and monitor control effectiveness
- • Coordinate with business units to implement risk mitigation actions
- • Produce risk reporting for senior management and regulators
- • Lead incident response and root‑cause analysis for technology issues
