Job Description
The Business Development/Product Manager will drive overseas investment and channel expansion for a logistics forwarding company, focusing on franchise agency growth across African markets. The role involves identifying prospective agents, presenting logistics solutions, negotiating agreements and supporting agents through onboarding and operational phases. Ongoing relationship management, market research and brand promotion activities are essential to sustain agent performance and increase shipment volumes.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • review, system activation, operation training, etc. Follow up the agent from intention - negotiation - signing - launch - first order to ensure fast start-up. Agent maintenance and operational support Maintain the existing agency relationship, make regular return visits, and solve the problems of agents in collection, transfer, customs clearance, timeliness, after-sales, reconciliation, settlement and other links. Communicate the latest policies, price adjustments, and event incentives to agents to improve agent stability and shipments. Collect agent opinions and market demand, and feedback to the Chinese operation team to optimize services. Market research and information feedback Research on logistics markets across Africa: peer prices, mainstream channels, customs clearance policies, customer pain points, competitive advantages, etc. Regularly submit investment promotion progress, customer situation, and market analysis reports. Event promotion and brand development Cooperate with the company to participate in logistics exhibitions, promotion meetings, and offline promotion activities. Expand the company's brand influence in local industry groups, chambers of commerce, and business circles.

- • Promote agency investment and develop channel partners across African countries.
- • Identify and engage potential logistics franchise agents through market visits, calls, social platforms and industry resources.
- • Explain company logistics products, route advantages, freight rate policies, settlement modes, service standards and franchise requirements to prospective agents.
- • Negotiate and finalize agency agreements, including condition communication, cooperation plan formulation, contract explanation and signing.
- • Assist agents with account opening materials, qualification review, system activation and operation training.
- • Maintain existing agency relationships with regular visits and resolve issues related to collection, transfer, customs clearance, timeliness, after‑sales, reconciliation and settlement.
- • Communicate policy updates, price adjustments and incentives to agents.
- • Collect agent feedback and market demand, reporting to the Chinese operations team.
- • Conduct market research on logistics across Africa, covering pricing, channels, customs policies, customer pain points and competitive advantages.
- • Prepare and submit regular reports on investment promotion progress, customer situation and market analysis.
- • Participate in logistics exhibitions, promotion meetings and offline activities to enhance brand visibility.
