Job Description
The Professor of Industrial/General Machine Engineering delivers lectures and practical sessions on machine engineering, supervises student projects and leads research initiatives. Responsibilities include securing research grants, publishing scholarly work and mentoring postgraduate students. Active involvement in curriculum review and departmental governance is required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Advanced degree (PhD or Master’s) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline
- • Proven university teaching experience in machine or industrial engineering
- • Active research portfolio with peer‑reviewed publications
- • Ability to attract research funding and collaborate with industry partners
- • Strong communication and supervisory skills
