Job Description
The Regional Safety & Security Director leads the development and implementation of safety strategies across the region, collaborating with local communities, governments and partners to protect natural assets. This senior role oversees risk assessments, emergency response planning, and security operations to ensure the safety of staff and conserved areas. The director also guides policy development and provides expert advice on security matters.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Minimum 10 years experience in safety, security or risk management
- • Proven leadership in directing regional security programs
- • Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminology, Environmental Science or related field
- • Strong analytical and communication skills
- • Experience working with NGOs or conservation organizations
