Job Description
The Senior Frontend Engineer designs and builds responsive web applications for HFCB Kenya’s digital platforms, ensuring high performance, usability and alignment with business requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
- • 5+ years of professional frontend development experience.
- • Expert proficiency in JavaScript, React, HTML5 and CSS3.
- • Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- • Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.

Responsibilities
- • Develop and maintain frontend features using JavaScript, React and modern web technologies.
- • Translate UI/UX designs into functional, responsive interfaces.
- • Optimize application performance and ensure cross‑browser compatibility.
- • Collaborate with backend developers, product owners and designers in Agile sprints.
- • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- • Maintain documentation and adhere to coding standards.
