The Senior Legal Counsel – Litigation provides expert legal advice on litigation matters, manages court proceedings, and drafts legal documents for KCB Bank. The role ensures the bank's interests are protected and that legal risks are identified and mitigated across all operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Law degree and admission to the bar in Kenya
- • Minimum 7 years experience handling litigation matters
- • Strong analytical, drafting and negotiation skills
- • In‑depth knowledge of banking and financial services regulations

Responsibilities
- • Advise the bank on litigation strategy and risk exposure
- • Manage court proceedings, draft pleadings and legal submissions
- • Coordinate with external counsel and oversee case progress
- • Conduct legal research and provide comprehensive legal opinions
- • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
