Job Description
The Senior Legal Counsel leads litigation matters for KCB Group, conducting legal research, preparing evidence, and managing case strategy. The counsel drafts legal briefs, coordinates witnesses, and advises senior management on risk mitigation. A qualified lawyer with extensive courtroom experience is required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Law degree (LLB) and admission to the bar in Kenya.
- • Minimum 5 years of experience handling complex litigation.
- • Proven track record of managing high‑stakes cases and courtroom advocacy.
- • Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.

- • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis for assigned cases.
- • Gather and organize evidence, and prepare witnesses for pre‑trial and hearings.
- • Draft legal briefs, motions, and other court documents.
- • Develop case strategies and advise senior management on litigation risks.
- • Liaise with external counsel and regulatory authorities as needed.
