Job Description
The Signature Program Technical Lead will guide the design, implementation and monitoring of Heifer International’s flagship agricultural development program. They will lead a technical team, collaborate with partners, and ensure that program interventions are evidence‑based and deliver measurable impact. The position requires strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills to drive sustainable outcomes.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Development Studies, Engineering or a related discipline
- • Minimum 3–5 years of experience leading technical projects in the development sector
- • Demonstrated ability to manage teams and multi‑stakeholder collaborations
- • Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills
- • Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation methodologies
- • Commitment to Heifer’s mission and values
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Lead the technical planning and execution of the Signature Program
- • Manage a multidisciplinary team to deliver project activities on schedule
- • Develop and apply monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess impact
- • Coordinate with partners, donors and community stakeholders
- • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and agricultural best practices
- • Produce technical reports and recommendations for program improvement
