The technician installs and maintains FTTH fiber optic connections for customers, ensuring reliable service and quality workmanship. They perform splicing, termination, testing, and troubleshoot network faults while following safety standards. The role also includes preventive and corrective maintenance and accurate documentation of all installations and repairs. Strong technical knowledge of fiber infrastructure and good customer‑service skills are essential.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Previous FTTH or fiber‑optic experience (preferred)
- • Practical knowledge of fiber installation and troubleshooting
- • Ability to perform fiber splicing and termination
- • Good understanding of FTTH network infrastructure
- • Strong technical and customer‑service skills
