Job Description
The Technician III will provide technical support for the university’s information and communication technology infrastructure. Duties include installing, maintaining and troubleshooting hardware, software and network equipment, as well as assisting staff and students with technical issues. The role is entry‑level and offers exposure to a range of ICT services within an academic environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Entry‑level qualification in Information Communication Technology or related field
- • Basic knowledge of hardware, software and network fundamentals
- • Ability to work independently and support a university community
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Install, configure and maintain computer hardware, software and networking equipment
- • Troubleshoot technical issues reported by staff and students
- • Perform routine system updates and backups
- • Provide user support and training on ICT tools
- • Maintain inventory of equipment and documentation
