Job Description
The Warehouse Manager will control warehouse space, enforce racking discipline, and manage inventory ageing while ensuring marketing merchandise complies with service level agreements. Collaboration with finance and strong leadership are essential to maintain accurate records and efficient operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or related field
- • 5–8 years of experience in warehouse management, including supervisory roles
- • Strong knowledge of customs regulations and clearing procedures
- • Proficiency with Excel, Dynamics 365 and other data‑processing tools
- • Demonstrated leadership and people‑management abilities
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Monitor and control use of rented warehouse racks and storage space for valuable inventory
- • Conduct periodic rack utilisation audits and reallocate space as needed
- • Maintain an up‑to‑date rack/bin‑location map reconciled with the WMS/ERP system
- • Ensure marketing merchandise is covered by signed SLAs defining receiving processes and storage limits
- • Track merchandise against SLA limits and flag any items approaching excess storage time
- • Collaborate with finance to produce monthly inventory ageing reports and review obsolete stock
- • Enforce inventory controls, customs clearance procedures and duty remission processes
- • Lead a warehouse team, providing coaching and performance management
