Job Description
The WASH Assistant supports the planning and delivery of water, sanitation and hygiene programmes in Mandera, travelling frequently to remote communities. The role involves conducting household visits, promoting proper hygiene practices, and assisting with the distribution of supplies. Monitoring and reporting on project progress ensures that interventions are effective and aligned with programme objectives.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma or equivalent qualification in public health, community development, or a related field
- • Experience in community‑based WASH projects preferred
- • Ability to travel to remote areas and work in challenging environments
- • Strong communication and teamwork skills
