Job Description
The Principal Programmer will lead software development for multiple clinical and non‑clinical studies, ensuring datasets are produced, validated and ready for regulatory submission. The role involves designing algorithms, maintaining code quality, collaborating with regulatory teams and mentoring junior developers.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
- • Significant experience in clinical programming and data management
- • Strong knowledge of regulatory submission requirements (e.g., CDISC, FDA, EMA)
- • Proficiency in programming languages such as SAS, R, Python or Java
- • Experience with database design, data validation and statistical analysis
- • Ability to lead technical teams and manage complex projects

- • Produce and validate datasets and analytical outputs to meet regulatory standards
- • Ensure code quality, documentation and version control across projects

- • Mentor and guide junior programmers, fostering best‑practice development
- • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in data pipelines and applications
- • Stay updated on emerging technologies and incorporate relevant tools into workflows
