Job Description
The Electrical Technician assembles and repairs electrical products, supports agro‑processing equipment maintenance and ensures safe operation of wiring systems. The role demands meticulous attention to detail, strong safety awareness and the ability to work with both industrial and commercial electrical installations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- • Extreme attention to detail and strong understanding of electrical safety
- • Soldering experience and proficiency with industrial/commercial wiring
- • Practical maintenance and repair skills
- • Preferred: EPRA C2 electrical worker licence, lathe operation experience and a driver’s licence
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Assemble electrical products such as power cables and converters
- • Rework agro‑processing machines according to provided instructions
- • Pack and unpack products, ensuring all items are accounted for
- • Perform occasional workshop wiring and general maintenance tasks
- • Conduct regular inspection, cleaning, servicing and preventive maintenance of equipment
- • Organise and maintain stock, ensuring proper storage and inventory control
- • Assist with loading, unloading, tidying and cleaning tasks as needed
