Job Description
The resident teacher delivers inquiry‑based Kiswahili and Christian Religious Education lessons that meet Kenya curriculum standards while fostering a supportive classroom environment. They collaborate with the Learning Design Team to develop and update lesson plans and integrate technology to enhance learning. The teacher also builds constructive relationships with students, families, and colleagues to promote academic excellence.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BSc/HND) or a Professional Certificate.
- • Minimum of 3 years teaching experience.
- • Demonstrated ability to develop curriculum and assess student progress.

- • Teach and deliver engaging Kiswahili and C.R.E lessons aligned with the Kenya curriculum.
- • Maintain positive, professional relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
- • Develop lesson plans and collaborate with the Learning Design Team to update content as needed.
- • Create a classroom environment that is organized, developmentally appropriate, and conducive to learning.
- • Inspire enthusiasm for learning and support students’ academic growth.
- • Provide accommodations and modifications to meet diverse learner needs.
- • Ensure students achieve mastery of content and academic standards.
- • Integrate interactive technology to enhance instructional delivery.
- • Set and communicate rigorous goals and provide effective feedback to students.
